Who do we accredit as test centres?
We work with a range of different education organisations as test centres; from professional invigilators with their own offices, to schools and universities. We work with private education consultancies and government organisations. All our test centres have to meet strict and very high standards of professionalism, credibility, communication, and provide high quality facilities for your candidates.
How do we bring new test centres into the network?

First we establish whether you meet our qualifying criteria - this is via an initial call and a basic application form.

Then we discuss our test centre contracts, your staffing and availability, and what fees you can charge candidates for your services. All our assessments have recommended invigilation charges.

Finally, we will start to gather evidence, documentation and references. Once complete, we welcome you onboard!
What is the accreditation process?
There is a comprehensive evidence gathering process, including - when possible - visits to prospective new test centres. References are gathered from existing professional bodies and partners. Copies of business licences, health and safety records, and any pre-existing accreditations are stored on file. Initially, only test centres who are pre-approved with existing accreditations will be permitted to join as a test centre

The Joining Process
After making initial contact, our joining process involves gathering information about your test centre and evidence for specific legal matters. We have a two stage decision process - starting with an initial appraisal which, if you are successful, proceeds to a secondary confirmation that checks documentary evidence. Our team will guide you through each stage and work with you to speed it along as quickly as possible.
Eligibility and exclusions
Intac test centres need to meet a number of criteria to gain accredited status. These include a number of factors which build an overall eligibility score. Passing the eligibility tests (based on factors such as experience, years operating, language skills, existing accreditations, other/conflicting services) provides a strong chance of being successful in your application. Certain businesses are excluded from becoming members for conflict-of-interest and safeguarding reasons.
Fast track for pre-approved partners
There are specific organisations, known for their invigilation and testing services, who we can fast-track through the accreditation process. These are organisations with specific existing accreditations, or the current partners of one of our assessments. We still need to onboard these test centres, gather all our usual documents and conducts checks but the process much faster.
